- I am Ksenia and today we will talk about your favourite
- and less favourite domestic chores.
- We will also practice using adverbs of frequency in speaking.
- We will start our lesson with a small poll.
- Scan the QR code on your screen.
- Pause the video and vote for the best and the worst household chore for you.
- We will find the results at the end of the lesson.
- The best domestic chore for me is to put away my clothes.
- I like when everything is in its place.
- The worst for me is to make my bed in the morning,
- because I get up really early and I am usually in a hurry, so I don’t have enough time for it.
- Although I have some less favourite chores I still need to do them
- otherwise everything in my flat will be in chaos and dirty.
- When I come to my parents’ house I try to help them with their domestic chores.
- I always make my bed there, I usually wash the dishes after the mealtimes
- and I often do shopping with my mom.
- I sometimes can take the rubbish out and I never do the laundry there.
- How often do you do these things?
- Take a pen and your notebook.
- Pause the video and write the household chores from the box next to the adverbs of frequency.
- Say how often you do or don’t do certain chores.

- After the poll I decided to ask some of my friends about their household chores.
- They sent me the messages, but instead of the adverbs they wrote the percentages.
- Help me to decode their notes by writing the correct adverbs
- instead of the numbers. You may start.

- Let’s begin with Anna’s notes:
- Everyone does chores in our house.
- I _sometimes_ cook the lunch and I _always_ wash the dishes after it.
- My dad _never_ sets the table, but he _often_ cleans it after every mealtime.
- Now let’s see what Chris has written:
